APPLICATIONS

Palletising Grippers

Robots can often be more efficient than standard packaging machines as they can carry out more functions, and are usually easier and cheaper to maintain.

Vacuum Grippers

Vacuum grippers can carry out multi functions such as product palletising, layer pad handling and pallet handling. A combination of additional features allow for re-spacing of products for acetate.

Diecasting - Foundry Grippers

Diecasting - Foundry Grippers These types of grippers are designed to unload die-casting machines by gripping standard slugs or features within the casting.

Machine Tending

These grippers are designed to load and unload components from a vast range of machines for example CNC milling, polishing, grinding and punching.

Special Purpose

Our special purpose grippers are designed to cater for individual customer requirements. These can range from light duty assembly applications to extremely harsh heavy-duty environments.​

Standard Product

The Procanical range of pneumatically operated two jaw parallel action grippers are designed to work in harsh hostile environments. There are four sizes in the range offering different strokes and clamping forces.

Food Industry

These grippers can be designed to have direct contact with food product and / or packaging.

Repair & Refurbishment

We offer a comprehensive repair / refurbish service. This can be a simple strip down and inspection with written report, to a fully refurbished head to original specification. All our repair work carries a 12 month warranty.

Procanical Ltd. Engineers have become well established in the robotic handling field.  We have acquired a wealth of knowledge and experience within our network.  This allows us to offer a wide scope of services from concept through to commissioning in a vast range of industries. Our main activity is in the design and manufacture of special purpose end of arm tooling for industrial robots and ancillary equipment within the robot cell. We have at our disposal a team of designers that can produce 3D designs in Solid Works and AutoCAD Inventor, and 2D drawings in AutoCAD.  

Working alongside blue chip Companies  such as Heinz, Howdens, Yaskawa, Kawasaki. ABB Systems Integrators, Kuka Robotics and many more. We offer a range of highly complex and multi function tooling.  Based in the North West of England we are able to service our customers speedily throughout the UK. 

We have over the last years developed our own standard product pneumatic gripper range, which can be supplied to end users to be incorporated into their projects as well as being used in our own custom designs. This is a heavy duty unit designed primarily for repetitive use in hostile environments.
