The CQU series was designed to be a lightweight, compact plate type cylinder. The width is up to 40% smaller when compared to SMC’s CQ2 series, and the full length has been reduced up to 15% compared to SMC’s MU series cylinder with 30mm stroke. The series is available in bore sizes 20mm, 25mm, 32mm, and 40mm. Auto switches can be mounted without removing mounting brackets. It is possible to mount a small auto switch in 4 directions. CQU mountings include through hole/double end tapped (standard), a vertical foot bracket, horizontal foot bracket, and double clevis.
