Available with tie rods or profiled, our ISO 15552 pneumatic cylinders are manufactured in accordance with ISO 6431 standards and adapted to VDMA 24562 and CNOMO/AFNOR 49003 to guarantee the interchangeability of the cylinders – even without mounted anchoring.
The magnetic piston can be mounted to activate the limit switch with reed contact. Furthermore, all of our mounting types, available according to ISO-VDMA standards, can be fixed to the end plates with socket head screws.

C96 ISO CYLINDER SERIES
SMC’s C96 series of ISO 15552 cylinder is an innovative addition to our range. A new cushioning method, combining air and bumper cushioning, offers the dual benefit of shortened cycle times and reduced metal noise when the piston stops.
Not only that, but SMC have also managed to reduce the weight of this particular series by an impressive 17% compared to the previous C96 model. This has been achieved by changing the rod cover shape and piston structure. Meanwhile, auto switch mounting and mounting position adjustment can be made in one direction to provide vastly improved handling performance.
C95 ISO CYLINDER SERIES
The C95 ISO cylinder is fully ISO compliant, VDMA24562 interchangeable and features a tie rod construction. As well as standard cushions and wear band, the C95 employs an innovative ‘floating’ cushion seal design that greatly improves operation. Plus, SMC’s exclusive ‘figure 8’ seal ensures a long cycle life.
